"We just returned from a week at your desert palace. We couldn't have been more delighted with everything. Your place had anything we needed and more than we could have wanted. The hand cream in the bathrooms, the flashlights in the drawer, the hot water in our tiled showers, the potable water, the orange juice maker, the coffee in the kitchen...two fabulous hosts who were there when we needed them but never invading our privacy. Kimmie's cooking was excellent. We made her key lime pie the last three days because it was soo good. And, our teenaged grandson who has a wierd appetite, to say the least, raved about her side dishes.

We kept discovering paintings and sculptures and mosaics in odd little corners much to our delight. Even the walls and doors and furniture of your casa were pleasing to the eye and made us feel like we were living in a museum. Of course, the gardens surrounding us with their sombrero clad "men" provided us with hours of exciting watching...the plants themselves and the fauna  which they attracted were so colorful. The fountain was a work of art in itself.  Lizards during the day and geckoes at night was just about all the teenager needed for bringing out the atavistic hunter in us all. Of course,  the second story hammocks and sun porch/deck were another favorite place for watching the bat rays jumping in the sea and just hanging out waiting for sunrises and sunsets to colour the sky.

Our brief stay at El Encanto de Cabo Pulmo was the highlight of our week in Southern Baja. Located ½ block from the famous reef at Cabo Pulmo Marine Park, this custom-designed & built home is unlike anything we’ve seen in the area. Everything, from the woven thatch roof, colorful walls, inspired furnishings, art, and even the landscaping within the walled compound is authentic and exquisite.
